The Blues rounded off their triumphant season with a resounding win at Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon.

Already assured of the league title, the lads put on a great performance to breeze past Haslingden 7-0 in their final game of the season. Despite the scoreline, the visitors put up a brave fight in an enjoyable game played in a great spirit.

It was captain Ben Cryer who set the Blues on their way after fifteen minutes, and they doubled their lead before half-time, before easing clear with some neat football and smart finishes in the second half.

The league secretary was present at the game and was on hand afterwards to present the trophy to Cryer to cap a wonderful season for the Blues.
