Bill Stell's report on the reserve team's match at home to Daisy Hill last Saturday.

Nelson Reserves maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw with Daisy Hill Res.

The visitors took a shock lead in the game after 10 mins when the locals where caught out by a quickly taken free kick. But in a game totally dominated by Nelson, numerous chances came and went before the equaliser arrived, tucked away at the far post by Pete Turner on 30 mins.

The rest of the game saw the home side mount attack after attack but could not turn the pressure into a winning goal.

This was a fine all round team performance which keeps the unbeaten run going and Captain Steve Pickup was outstanding throughout the match.
