It was Chris Thompson all the way as the awards were handed out at the Blues' presentation evening,

Manager Alex Mugan hosted the awards, and shot stopper Thommo was the man who came out on top, scooping a full house of Players Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year, and nelsonfc.co.uk MoM Player of the Season.

John Luker grabbed third place in the first two, and runners-up spot in the latter, with Luke Hargreaves second in the Players, and Alex himself second in the Supporters.

But it was Thommo who was rewarded for some excellent performances between the sticks, helping gain us vital points and victories throughout the season, as well as saving us from the odd bigger mauling or two.

So congratulations to Thommo, and thanks to all the players and supporters who attended the presentation and also voted throughout the season.
