| It appears our exclusive yesterday was a little wide of the mark, as Colne will not unfortunately receive a second bite at the Vase cherry. |
 | nelsonfc.com's mole was embarrassed and upset with his "exclusive" cock-up |
| On further investigation, we found out that the alleged ineligible Sudbury player Terry Rayner was actually free to play in the Vase second-leg tie at Holt House. Therefore the 4-3 aggregate victory for AFC Sudbury stands, and it is they who will line up against Winchester City at St. Andrews in May.
www.nelsonfc.com would like to sincerely apologise to all Colne (and Nelson) fans for getting their hopes up (and down), and we will promise to ensure no misleading information appears within the site again - at least for another year anyway. We would also like to pass on our congratulations to Colne on their magnificent achievements in the Vase competition this season.
