North West Counties Football League club Nelson FC is to feature prominently in a radio programme about non league football to be aired on Preston FM on Tuesday 9th February at 2pm.
In this special edition of their regular "Two Left Feet" music and events show, presenters Paul & Lucy Breeze will review Garth Dykes' new book about the club's 10 year stint in the Football League in the 1920s and 30s. There is also an interview with Nelson chairman Alan Pickering who talks about his promising young manager Alex Mugan and the club's embryonic plans to return to their original Seedhill home.
Also included in the show are interviews with fellow NWCFL clubs New Mills, Formby and Barnoldswick Town as well as high flying Blue Square North side
Fleetwood Town.
