I suppose it means a slump is on the way, but congratulations to the boss on his first 'Manager Of The Month' award, picked up for November's performances.

The month started off with a narrow defeat at Norton United, but since that time it's been victories and goals all the way.

First Division Great Harwood Town were seen off in the first round of the Lancashire F.A. Marsden Trophy to set up January's clash against Conference side Morecambe.

The following weekend saw the team demolish Chadderton 5-0, before returning to knockout competition with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Cheadle Town in the Second Division Trophy.

The final game of the month was last weekend's see-saw return league encounter with Norton, which the Blues edged 4-3 with a last minute strike from in-form Paul Barrett.

Many congratulations go to David, assistant Graham Haworth, and the team on receiving the award, and long may the good form continue.
